Frequently asked questions

Please don't hesitate to get in contact if you would like more information.

How does a partnership with ReadCloudVET work?

We provide schools with learning and assessment materials, dedicated support, and take care of compliance requirements to ensure that your program meets regulatory standards. Schools choose their own teachers who understand your student cohort and unique context, enabling students to remain onsite and be nurtured through their VET studies in a familiar and supportive learning environment.

How are the VET programs delivered?

Teachers and students access all learner resources and assessment materials on the ReadCloudVET Hub. This platform has been designed to suit the unique needs of VET in Schools and ensures simplicity and accessibility. Students can complete assessment tasks for each unit and track their progress with visible, colour-coded progress bars, while teachers provide feedback and enter results on each task to support students towards final completion of each full unit.

Types of assessments may include observations, written or verbal questions, portfolios, projects, videos, photos, production of documents or items, performances, recordings and more.

What support is provided during the course?

All enrolments include twice-weekly online support sessions, which learners can join at any point and as often as they choose. Learners also get direct contact with assessors, structured coursework delivered in manageable parts, clear feedback, and ongoing progress updates.

What does a school need to deliver VET onsite?
  • Equipment and facilities for the qualification
  • Classroom hours allocated to the program
  • A teacher with industry experience in the subject area who holds a relevant TAE Certificate or Skill Set

For schools wanting to upskill their own staff to become VET trainers, secondary school teachers need only complete three TAE units to attain TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set. For those staff members who do not hold a full teaching qualification, we offer the full twelve units of the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

How do we transfer student results if we move across from another RTO?

If you are transitioning from another RTO to a partnership with ReadCloudVET, you can simply send us the Statements of Attainment for your students and we will recognise previous study through credit transfer wherever this is allowed within the qualification.

How do my students obtain their certificates?

At the completion of a program, VET trainers finalise results and (where all units have been completed) we will issue a certificate. Where a student has not completed all units for a full qualification, they are issued a Statement of Attainment for all the units they have successfully completed.

What is the fee structure?

Our fee structure includes a single qualification fee plus a student enrolment fee annually. For a tailored quote to support your school planning, please get in touch.
